CHAPTER COMMUNITY SERVICE / EDUCATION ACTIVITIES

COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECTS FOR 2008 - The Greater Sacramento Valley Chapter of NARI supports the community in the following ways:

Members are volunteering materials, appliances, design and construction services to the Society of the Blind’s kitchen vignettes going into their new building. Everything is being donated by NARI members!

Each dinner meeting sponsor is selecting a charity or community service project that the Chapter will support each month. A portion of proceeds from dinner contributions will be donated each month.
 

EDUCATION: The Greater Sacramento Valley Chapter of NARI formed and supports the NARI Education Fund (501(c)3 corporation). The Fund supports classroom grants and student scholarships for those teaching or entering into the construction fields.
